Our violin studio and workshop will change the way you think about buying or seeking a service for a stringed instrument.
We provide professional services for string instruments in a comfortable, friendly and relaxing environment, and offer the best choice in its respective range.
Our studio-workshop, service and products strongly reflect our great passion for string instruments. We are constantly searching and evocating the application of new technology that improves the sound production of a string instrument.
At JohannStrings we pledge to reduce wastage through our expert restoration craft services in two key areas:
- We present instruments worth keeping, by restoring instruments received to a state of playability and performance excellence, so they can be used again.
- We refurbish used instruments, so they can be put to good use again, and donating these instruments to orphanages in third world countries under our Corporate Social Responsibility programme.
We proudly support our local communities in order to affect positive change, and lend support to young and up-coming musicians.
S.K. is the owner of Johann Strings and a trained luthier. Trained in Newark, Nottinghamshire of England under Mr. John Gosling and Ms. Narelle Freeman, SK obtained the Certificate of Advanced Violin Restoration, and is a member of the British Violin Making Association since the year 2012.
S.K. is always ready to handle your stringed instrument, be it for a re-setup, tonal adjustment, major repair or restoration of an old instrument. His high standard of work and responsible attitude has gained a deep trust from within the professional performer, string instructor and string enthusiast communities across this region.
Our Corporate Social Responsibility Program "Unleash Your Talent, Pursue Your Passion". This charitable program started in year 2011, with an aim to transform the lives of youths by providing them access to string instruments & learning opportunities.
